Tons of celebrities have various beauty product lines, but they sometimes seem to represent the superficial face of the brand instead of true behind-the-scenes work. However, with the upcoming release of Rihanna’s new skincare line, Fenty Skin, we’re excited to see this boss businesswoman contribute to the entire process of launching her new skincare line. Three products are being officially launched this Friday, July 31st. Can’t wait that long? You can sign up for early access to the line today!
The Basics
One of our favorite things about the line is its versatility; while specialized skincare products are a must at times, initiating the launch with products that will work for everyone is an amazing idea on Rihanna’s part. Good for all ages, the launch includes a cleanser, a 2-in-1 toner-serum combo, and a 2-in-1 sunscreen and moisturizer.
These products are beautiful inside and out, starting with the light, soothing feel on your skin and including a soothing packaging color to match. The tops of the packaging are designed to be used easily, prevent messes, and stay on top of your hygiene game. Such detail proves that Fenty Skin didn’t rush to launch their products but instead took time and care when creating them – which can be so rare in this industry!
The Products

Fenty Skin’s Total Cleanser
The Total Cleanser is both a cleanser and makeup remover in one! The highlight: it doesn’t strip or dry out your skin. If we had to come up with a con, it might be the amount of fragrance. Be careful with this product if your skin is sensitive to fragrant products!View this post on Instagram -
Fenty Skin’s Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner-Serum
View this post on Instagram A post shared by FENTY SKIN (@fentyskin) on Jul 27, 2020 at 7:29pm PDT The Fat Water is a toner-serum hybrid that refines pores, reduces dark spots, and fights shine without stripping the skin! This product is extremely light, great for sebum control, and even helps with oilier skin; however, we wish it was just a bit more hydrating. If you’re just now getting into skincare or are simply looking to add something extra to your basic routine, we highly recommend checking out this item! -
Fenty Skin’s Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer + Broad Spectrum SPF30 Protection
View this post on Instagram A post shared by FENTY SKIN (@fentyskin) on Jul 27, 2020 at 7:40pm PDT The Hydra Vizor is an invisible moisturizer paired with SPF30 sunscreen (which we could all use a little more of!) that provides oil-free hydration, reduces the look of pores, and defends and brightens your skin! We love the light-as-air feel when applying it as well as the wonderful lack of white cast. Similar to the Fat Water, a little more hydration would be great to see here. Note that this product may also produce potential fragrance issues for those with sensitive skin.Additionally, this particular part of the line has a couple of standout features. When you need more, you can recycle the previous insert and purchase a refill (instead of an entire new bottle). Let’s not forget that it’s coral reef-friendly too!
The Future of Fenty Skin
We’re already big fans of Fenty Beauty, so we really hope to see this skincare line continue to expand in the future. Adding a product like an exfoliator or eye cream would be a wonderful complement to the pre-existing makeup line! What are you hoping to see next?
